Leadwood Police Chief Charged in Pike County

(Bowling Green) The Leadwood Police Chief and his wife were charged in Pike County, Missouri last week with four Class A misdemeanors.

Christopher and Patricia Heatherly faces two counts of misuse of official information by a public servant and two counts of harassment.

The charges came from incidents in April of last year just before he was hired by the Leadwood City Council as the chief of police.

The Leadwood City Council was considering removing Heatherly last month but did not provide an explanation for their concerns.

Arraignment for the Heatherly’s is scheduled for May 29th at the courthouse in Bowling Green.
