One person killed in early morning fire in High Ridge, sheriff’s office and fire marshal’s office investigating

(High Ridge) One person is dead after a fire broke out at a residence in the 3100 block of Ruby Drive in High Ridge on Monday morning.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says arson detectives with the sheriff’s office and Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating.

The fire was reported just after 3 on Monday morning.

The name of the victim is expected to be released pending positive identification which could be confirmed anytime in the coming days.
