North County Basketball Building Defensive Identity With New Coach Lance Sprenkel

(Bonne Terre) The North County Raiders boys basketball team will have a new man at the helm. Lance Sprenkel is in his first season leading the Raiders, and he says the team spent the summer building chemistry.

Sprenkel previously from Bismarck High School, which has no football team. He says it’s been challenging helping the football players on the basketball team train for both sports at the same time.

Sprenkel names some of the players he expects to have key roles this season.

The Raiders are already building an identity from their strong defense.

North County opens its season on November 27th in the Fountain City Classic in DeSoto.
