2021 was a busy year for both Festus and Crystal City Police

(Festus/Crystal City) 2021 was another busy year for law enforcement agencies in keeping up with the increase in calls for service in each community across the county.

Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis says the department was able to upgrade a lot of equipment thanks to the COVID relief funds.

Crystal City Police Captain Mike Pruneau says they were busy with either training or responding to various calls around town.

In addition with the help of COVID stimulus money Crystal City PD also purchased new computers for patrol vehicles and equipment capable of reading/checking license plates.
