2022 Accidents involving fatal injuries remains above 2021 statistics at this time.

(Jefferson County) It’s no surprise that motor vehicle accidents involving fatal injuries continues to climb in the state as the numbers this year have remained at or above last year’s numbers at any given time.

Corporal Logan Bolton with the Missouri State Highway Patrol provides the latest fatal accident update in Missouri.

There are several things that have contributed to the higher fatal accident count.

On the water there have been 3 boating fatalities along with 4 drowning deaths this year.

That’s compared to 2 boating and 9 drowning deaths in 2021 at this time.
