2024 Jefferson County Council Updates

(HILLSBORO) The Jefferson County Council held its first meeting of 2024 on Monday night. County Executive Dennis Gannon says the council named their chairman and vice chairman for the year and they selected Charles Groeteke once again as the chair.

Gannon says the council is also in the process of looking to name someone to fill the vacant seat in District 3.

The District 3 council member has been vacant since the resignation of Shannon Otto back in November. The next meeting of the Jefferson County Council will be held on Monday, January 22nd.
