25 Mile Yard Sale This Holiday Weekend at Lake Wappapello

(Wappapello) It’s down to one more big weekend at Lake Wappapello in southern Wayne County.

Andrew Jefferson with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the lake says this summer flew right by.

Jefferson also tells us about another big event happening at and near the lake this weekend.

Jefferson tells us Redman Creek and Peoples Creek Beaches will both close for the year starting Tuesday.

However, Rockwood Point Beach at Lake Wappapello will stay open until mid-September.
