5-Year-Old Among Three Injured In St. Francois County Car Wreck

(St. Francois County) A 5-year-old female was among three that ended up in the hospital following a car crash on northbound US-67 in St. Francois County Wednesday afternoon. Traffic was at a stop on US-67 due to a previous crash. 32-year-old Aleisha Gayler of Bonne Terre drove a Ford Explorer into the rear of a Ford Fiesta driven by 34-year-old Andrew Lumsden of Desloge. The juvenile female, an occupant in Gayler’s car, received minor injuries while Gayler received moderate injuries. Bother were taken to Parkland Health Center by private conveyance. Lumsden was seriously injured and was transported to Mercy South St. Louis for treatment. The crash occurred around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.
