75 Missouri Airports to Receive over $150,000,000 in Federal Coronavirus Stimulus Package

(Farmington) The Federal Aviation Administration is awarding Missouri more than 152-million dollars for 75 Missouri airports because of the coronavirus.

The funding is part of a new grant program linked to the federal stimulus package.

The funding supports continuing operations and replaces lost revenue from the sharp decline in passenger traffic and other airport business due to COVID-19.

Funds are available for airport capital expenses, operating costs, including payroll and utilities and airport debt payments.
