Pevely body identified and investigation continues

(Pevely) The body recently discovered near Taylor Drive in Pevely has been identified as 64-year-old Joan Giudicy of Pevely. Her remains were discovered on April 23rd and were positively identified by the Regional Medical Examiners’ Office on Friday. Pevely Police Chief Mark Glenn says members of law enforcement had been searching for Giudicy shortly after the start of the year.

Giudicy’s death is considered suspicious, however, Chief Glenn is unable to release any of those details.

Chief Glenn does not know exactly how long Giudicy’s body had been at the scene before being discovered, as the full report from the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has not been released. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Pevely Police Department.
