A Fenton man could be charged after shooting at potential thieves

(Fenton) A Fenton man could be facing charges after firing shots at thieves who had been breaking into vehicles and firing shots at a suspicious vehicle that was leaving the area. The incident took place on Ozark Lane near Highway 21 recently. Lieutenant Chris Hoffman with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says that’s certainly not the best course of action.
Lieutenant Hoffman talks about the best way to handle this situation.
The vehicle that was struck by gunfire was found later and was indeed stolen. The 39-year-old male could be facing a charge of unlawful use of a weapon.
