A.V. Thanksgiving Tournament Championship Game Is Set

(Iron County) The 97th Annual Arcadia Valley Championship matchup has been set. The South Iron Panthers, who won 55-31 over Fredericktown (1-1), will face the West County Bulldogs Who knocked off Arcadia Valley 59-35.

South Iron (2-0) led wire-to-wire in their victory. Marquis Burse scored a game-high 19 points and played some great defense.

South Iron coach Dusty Dinkins gave his thoughts on the win.

Will Malone added 10 points for South Iron. Zander Stephens led the Blackcats with 10 points.
West County (2-0) was led by a strong offensive performance from Levi Hale.

Hale finished the night with 20 points. Jaxon Campbell put up 17, and Lance Monroe added 10 more. Arcadia Valley (1-1) put up a good fight, and there were several fouls on both sides.
West County head coach Chris Labruyere says that playing against other physical teams is tough to learn in practice.

Dillon Mueller scored 16 points for the Tigers and Gage Douglas added 12 more.
