Alivia Simily Adds Girls Track & Field To Her Dream Team Tally

(Leadwood) A two-time member on the Girls Basketball Dream Team, Alivia Simily can now add Girls Track & Field Dream Team to her list of honors.

The West County grad finished all-state in the triple jump and long jump and qualified for state in the high jump. She was very proud to see her dad, Bobby, get his recognition too.

Simily got fourth in Class Two in the triple jump and fifth in the long jump. She was hoping to medal in all three events, but there’s still room to grow.

Her personal record for triple jump is 35 feet and 11 inches. In long jump it’s 17 feet and four inches and in high jump Simily has reached five feet and one inch.

Simily will attend the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis where she’ll compete in track & field and basketball. Their mascot is the Eutectics (you-tech-dicks). Simily is well-versed on what a Eutectic is.

Simily has four all-state medals across triple jump and high jump.
