Almost Time For Wiggle & Giggle Fishing Derby in Farmington

(Farmington) The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department is just about ready for a fun event for kids in preschool up to 14-years-old.

It’s the 37th Wiggle and Giggle Fishing Derby on Saturday morning, May 6th at Hager Lake.

Parks and Rec Director Doug Stotler says the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Department of Conservation will be making a stop at the 9 acre lake before the fishing derby gets underway.

Stotler wants to let you know the cost to participate in Wiggle and Giggle.

Registration for Farmington’s Wiggle and Giggle Fishing Derby begins Saturday morning, May 6th at 7:15 with the derby starting at 8.

The event is expected to wrap up around 11 o’clock.

Hager Lake is located near the Farmington Industrial Park on Progress Drive.
