Arcadia Valley’s Braelyn Turnbough is Athlete of the Week

Braelyn Turnbough of the Arcadia Valley Lady Tigers basketball team is this week’s Regional Radio/Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week. Turnbough helped the Lady Tigers wrap up the MAAA Small School regular season title in last week’s win over Bismarck, where she scored 34 points with 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Turnbough has scored 30 or more points in each of her last six games, all of which were A.V. Lady Tiger victories. Her numbers are great, but Turnbough says her teammates have been a big reason for her recent success.

Turnbough says she gets some extra shots up every day.

Braelyn’s dad is Ricky Turnbough, who coaches the Lady Tigers. He tells us about Braelyn’s contributions to the team.

For being named athlete of the week, Braelyn Turnbough will receive a certificate, a t-shirt, and a certificate for a free entrée from Applebee’s of Farmington.
