Arnold man arrested after crashing his jeep

An Arnold man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Twin River Road east of River Bend Drive near Byrnes Mill on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Taylor Adams was driving a Jeep Wrangler westbound on Twin River, lost control exited the roadway to the left, and struck a tree and a fence before catching fire. Adams was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place around 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon. Adams was later charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
