Bonne Terre Man Pleads Guilty To Possession Of Child Porn

(Farmington) A St. Francois County man waived his right to jury trial on Friday and decided to plead guilty to four Class B felonies of possession of child porn in St. Francois County court.

A news release from early February said the The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control investigated 22-year-old Austin J. Brayfield of Bonne Terre and subsequently arrested Brayfield at his home on Rue Martel Street in Bonne Terre.

Police served a search warrant at Brayfield’s residence and they seized child pornography and electronic devices.

For pleading guilty to those four felonies, Brayfield was allowed another felony charge of promotion of child pornography to be dropped.

Brayfield is expected to be sentenced at the courthouse in Farmington on May 26th.
