Bunker Man Injured in Dent County Crash

(Howes Mill) A man from Bunker was injured after a two vehicle accident this morning in Dent County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 32, about 12 miles east of Salem when 42-year-old Andrew Mendenhall of Salem failed to yield his Chevy pickup for a Ford Explorer driven by 83-year-old Rodney Parker of Bunker who was making a left turn.

Mendenhall’s vehicle struck Parker’s vehicle.

Mendenhall was not injured but Parker received moderate injuries.

He was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
