Central Football Looks To Rebound At Ste. Genevieve

(Ste. Genevieve) The Central Rebels football team took their first loss last week, and look to rebound against the Ste. Genevieve Dragons Friday. The Rebels were in a shootout with Cape Central last week, and lost quarterback Casen Murphy and wide receiver Kannon Harlow to injury. Both will be out this week, and Jobe Bryant will be thrust into action at quarterback again. Central head Coach Kory Schweiss praised Bryant following his play last week.

Even without some key pieces in the lineup, the Rebels are a tough team to stop. Ste. Genevieve head coach Jay Pope enjoys the rivalry with the Rebels.
