Central Girls and Boys Set to Take on Cape Notre Dame in Class 4 Sectionals Tonight on J98

(Farmington, Mo.) After earning District Championships last week in both boys and girls basketball, the Central Rebels now head off to sectionals with both teams facing the same opponent, the Cape Notre Dame Bulldogs.

The (22-5) Central Lady Rebels took on (22-4) Cape Notre Dame back on January 9th with the Bulldogs coming out on top 52-45.

Central head coach Josh Mapes says Cape Notre Dame certainly presents a tough challenge.

The (21-6) Central boys have also met (24-4) Cape Notre Dame this season with the Bulldogs winning in Park Hills back on January 28th by a final score of 71-66.

Rebels head coach Allen Davis says his team needs to be calm when met by the Bulldogs’ defensive pressure.
