Central Girls Basketball Defeats Ursuline Academy 58-40, Returns to Show Me Showdown
(ST. LOUIS) The Central Lady Rebels basketball team is headed back to the Show Me Showdown in Columbia. They beat Ursuline Academy 58-40 to earn their second straight final four appearance. Central held a lead at the end of the first quarter, and it seemed like every shot was dropping in for the Lady Rebels.

Central continued to find the hoop, and a big second half from Khloe Dischbein helped ice the game.

Dischbein led all scorers with 16 points. Allysa O’Connor had 15, and Kinley Norris finished with 11. Lady Rebels head coach Aaron Tyree says his team earned their spot in the final four.

Central is now 26-4 and will compete for their first girls basketball championship since 2015. Their semifinal game is Wednesday at 6 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, and the Lady Rebels will face Owensville.
