Central Hosts Farmington in MAAA Contest On KREI

(Park Hills) Tonight on KREI the 14-3 Central Rebels host the 9-8 Farmington Knights in an MAAA Large-School Divisional Matchup.

Central is a perfect 4-0 in conference play and can clinch the regular season title with a win. Farmington would need to win in order to keep their hopes alive in clinching the conference.

It won’t be easy for the Knights as they’ve lost three straight and four of the last five. Farmington coach Garrett Callahan says his team needs to recalibrate after a close loss to rival North County last Friday.

The Knights could use some more good play out of J.P. Ruble. The senior racked up 20 points and four triples in the 74-63 loss to North County.

The Rebels are led by sophomore Jobe Bryant and his 23 ppg, making him one of the top scorers in Southeastern Missouri. But Central also has some guys that can bang down low, says Rebels coach Brad Gross.

Central and Farmington will tip-off on KREI tonight with a 6:45 Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show. You can also stream the game at mymoinfo.com.
