Central Rebels Take Fredericktown Girls Tournament Title

(Fredericktown) The Central girls captured the Fredericktown Girls Tournament Championship 73-41 over Arcadia Valley this afternoon on J-98. Central was up by four at the end of the first quarter, but raced away in the second, putting up 26 points in the frame. The threes started falling and the Rebels led 37-20 at the half.

Kaley Kimball paced the Rebels with 21 points. Gracee Smith scored 17 for Arcadia Valley.

In an interesting bit of cross strategy, both teams ran box and one defenses against the other team’s best scorer. Central coach Josh Mapes says he thinks he has a team that can deal with almost any defense…
