Central Rebels Win Steighorst Tournament 81-68 Over Windsor
(HILLSBORO)   In games broadcast Saturday on J-98 and mymoinfo.com, the Central Rebels successfully defended their Steighorst Tournament crown as they beat the Windsor Owls Saturday afternoon 81-68.  The Rebels led at halftime 38-37 and expanded their lead to seven points by the end of the third.  Leading the way for the Rebels were Jobe Bryant who had 22 points while Caden Casey pumped in 29.
After the game, Central Coach Brad Gross said he was really proud of team.

Windsor coach Brian Gilbert agreed the Owls jumped out early but were then hampered by the guard play of Caden Casey and Jobe Bryant.  For the Owls, they were led by Noah Barnes’ 14 points.

In the third place game, also broadcast on J-98 and mymoinfo.com the Hillsboro Hawks and the Summit Falcons were tied 38-38 at the end of the third quarter but in the fourth quarter the Hawks pull away with a lead as they went on to grab the third place trophy 56-52.  Hillsboro used 27 points by Dom Sutton enroute to the win.  Quincy Thomas scored 18 points for the Falcons.

Earlier in the day, Festus won the 7th place game 80-46 against Northwest and Seckman beat Fox for fifth place 72-71.
