(PERRYVILLE) The Central Rebels spoiled the Perryville Pirates Senior Night and came away with a 42-7 victory on Friday night. The Rebels wanted to establish the run from the get go and they did just that on their fourth play from scrimmage.

Down two scores in the 1st half, the Pirates would force a turnover and take over on the Rebels own 10 yard line, and would turn to 6’4″ 260 pound runningback James Rhoden.

However from their the Rebels would run away from the Pirates on the legs of Gage Manion.

That was Manion’s third of four rushing touchdowns. After the game head coach Kory Schweiss had praise for the style of play that Gage Manion plays, despite his body type.

Perryville Pirates head coach Blaine Boss says his team struggled to tackle.

The Pirates drop to 3-4 and will be in Portageville next week while the Rebels advance to 4-3 and play Dexter next Friday night.
