Central’s Braydon Berry Commits to Evangel University

Braydon Berry, a wide receiver and defensive back for the Central Rebels has committed to continue his academic and education career at Evangel University in Springfield. Berry tells us what went into his decision.

Berry’s aspirations to play college football are a new development, thanks in part to tough love and belief in him instilled by the Rebels coaching staff. Central football coach Kory Schweiss says Berry was coachable and grew in almost every aspect of his game since transferring in from Farmington before the start of the season.

Berry wanted to shout out some people who helped him get to this point.

Berry will major in kinesiology with the goal of becoming a physical therapist. He committed at a signing ceremony Thursday afternoon in the presence of his family, coaches and teammates.
