Class 4 District 2 Basketball Tournament Begins Today on the MyMoInfo SportStream

(Park Hills, Mo.) The Class 4 District 2 basketball tournament gets underway this afternoon with the quarterfinals on the MyMoInfo SportsStream.

The boys games get the day started with the #4 Farmington Knights taking on the #5 DeSoto Dragons.

The Knights topped the Dragons back in mid-January by a final score of 89-68, but Farmington head coach Terry Noble says he believes that DeSoto has improved since then.

The second boys game of the day will see the #3 North County Raiders square off with the #6 Potosi Trojans.

North County beat Potosi in their lone matchup this season by a final score of 62-50 back in January.

In the first girls game of the tournament, the #4 Potosi Trojans will meet up with the #5 DeSoto Dragons.

The Trojans got the best of the Dragons back in early December by a final score of 69-35, and DeSoto head coach Sam Rauls says he knows Potosi presents a tough challenge.

The final game of the day will feature another girls matchup between the #3 North County Raiders and the #6 Hillsboro Hawks.

This will be the first meeting of the two teams on the year, and Raiders head coach Zac McVey says he expects the Hawks to give them everything they’ve got.

Coverage of the Class 4 District 2 basketball tournament kicks off at 11:45 on the MyMoInfo SportsStream.
