Colleen Kay Gallagher Celebrates 50 Years Of Making Music

(Farmington) A good crowd was on hand Saturday night in Farmington to help area musician Colleen Kay Gallagher celebrate her 50th anniversary of performing music. Gallagher says it was a wonderful night.

Gallagher had her bandmates from Route 67 with her along with friends and family. But she says the highlight for her may have involved her daughter Jennie coming on stage to sing with her.

Max T. Barnes, who has written several number one hits for other artists was there to perform. There were also tributes throughout the night from other artists, including members of Loretta Lynn’s band. Saturday’s concert was held at Truman Auditorium in Farmington. Hear more with Colleen below.
