Crystal City’s Response to COVID-19

(Crystal City) In accordance with recommendations from the Jefferson County Health Department, the City of Crystal City will close all public facilities until further notice.

These facilities include; city hall, Crystal City Police Department, Public works, public library and restroom facilities and pavilions at all Crystal City Parks.

City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says this is being done in order to minimize social contact among the general public and city staff to ensure the continued delivery of service.

Also with the changes all city offices except the Police Department will be closed on Fridays.

According to Eisenbeis, trash service will not change. However, bulk pickup and yard waste service is suspended until further notice.
