David Zufall Jr. guilty of second degree assault

(Hillsboro) David Paul Zufall, Jr. of House Springs was found guilty on Wednesday of Assault in the Second Degree. He was charged with two felonies for allegedly shooting a 44-year-old Byrnes Mill man on May 5th of 2020 after an apparent road-rage incident in unincorporated Fenton. Zufall allegedly shot the victim multiple times in the parking lot of the Walgreens store at 1210 Sugar Creek Square. Jefferson County Presiding Judge Brenda Stacey heard the case on Wednesday. Sentencing for Zufall Jr. will be held in August.
