Desloge alderman hear yearly audit, make choice on new fire truck

The city of Desloge has completed its yearly audit.
City administrator Dan Bryan says the accounting firm Hochschild, Bloom & Company presented the main points during the board of alderman’s meeting Monday night and had good news.
Bryan says the board also made its decision after taking bids on a new tanker truck for the fire department.
But Bryan says this is a brand-new truck, so it may take a year before it’s ready for action.
The Desloge board of alderman also heard mayor David Kater’s monthly report.
