DeSoto council selects Akers as Mayor again

(DeSoto) The DeSoto City Council didn’t change much after this month’s election. DeSoto City Manager Todd Melkus says two current councilmen were voted back in, and a former council member returns.

Melkus says the council also voted to keep the same leadership in place.

The current city council members will remain on the same committees, the only change was placing Rich McCane on the cemetery committee to replace Roger Charleville.
