DeSoto dances with Windsor in girls’ hoops on KJFF

(Imperial) Girls’ basketball conference rivals face off when the DeSoto Dragons visit the Windsor Owls Thursday on KJFF.

Both teams have struggled on offense but can play great defense.

DeSoto is 8-11 but has won six of its last 10 behind senior Kamryn Pehle, who is averaging a double-double of more than 11 points and 12 rebounds per game.

But Dragons head coach Sam Rauls says it all starts with how well they can stop the opposition.

Windsor is 8-10 and has gotten a breakout season from sophomore Reagan Daly, but the Owls have lost three of their last 4 games.

Both teams are 3-3 in the JCAA Large-School Division, with the Owls beating the Dragons 34-24 last season.

DeSoto duels Windsor Thursday evening with pregame coverage starting at 6:45 on AM 1400 KJFF.
