DeSoto man arrested after crash on Highway 110

A DeSoto man was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Upper Plattin Road at Highway 110 Tuesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports 59-year-old Kenneth Uding was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram pick-up and turned left from Upper Plattin onto 110 after failing to stop at the stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2010 Chevy Tahoe driven by 34-year-old Dale Hoffman of DeSoto. Uding was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place a little before 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Uding was later charged with Persistent Driving While Intoxicated.
