DeSoto residents injured in Franklin County crash

Two DeSoto residents were injured in a single-vehicle accident o, westbound Project Road west of Highway FF in Franklin County Monday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Cheryl Fields was driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue when her vision was obstructed by the sun, and traveled off the roadway and struck several trees. Fields was transported by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital Washington with minor injuries. A passenger in the vehicle 71-year-old Meredith Fields was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington with moderate injuries. The accident took place a little before 7 o’clock Monday night.
