DeSoto’s Reichmuth Excelled in Return, Named to Boys Soccer Dream Team

(DeSoto) One of the area’s elite goal scorers, DeSoto’s Chase Reichmuth returned to the pitch this season and had one of his best campaigns yet en route to being named to the Boys Soccer Dream Team.

He says earning this recognition from area coaches was a goal.

Reichmuth finished the year with 18 goals, matching his total from his freshman season in 2018, and added three assists.

He breaks down his approach to the striker position.

This was a special season for Reichmuth after missing most of last year due to a groin tear he suffered early on in the 2019 season.

He was only able to play five games for the Dragons last year but did still manage to score nine goals across those contests.

He says it felt great to get back out there.

This year Reichmuth earned his second All-Conference and All-District selections.

Over his three years with DeSoto, Reichmuth has racked up 45 goals and 22 assists.
