Doe Run & Park Hills Teenagers Seriously Injured in Car Crash

(Park Hills) Four teenagers were injured in a one car crash Tuesday night in St. Francois County, two seriously.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on 6th Street and Simmons Road in Park Hills when a 16-year-old from Valles Mines was driving a Ford Focus too fast for conditions.

The car ran off the road and hit a utility pole.

Two passengers, a 16-year-old girl from Doe Run and a 13-year-old boy Park Hills were seriously injured and they were taken to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

The driver was moderately injured and another passenger, a 14-year-old boy from Park Hills received minor injuries.

Those two were taken to the hospital in Bonne Terre.
