Domestic Situation In Fenton Leaves One Man Dead

(FENTON, HILLSBORO) A St. Louis man is dead after a domestic violence altercation in Fenton on Thursday night. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell says the call came in a little after 6 o’clock in the 800 block of Matthews Drive.

Bissell says the deputy took the shooter into custody and attempted medical aid to the shooting victim, who has been identified as 39-year-old Jarvis Person.

The shooter remains in custody at the Jefferson County Jail and is cooperating with the investigation. At this time, it’s unknown if charges will be filed against the 20-year-old. His name has not been released.
