Dr. Randall Williams Holiday Travel Advice

(Jefferson City) The holiday season usually means large gatherings of family and friends and heavy travel schedules. That will be different this year, but Dr. Randall Williams, with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has some advice for those traveling for the holidays.

Williams stresses that even if you semi-quarantine yourself and still feel symptoms before you travel such as: soar throat, head ache or loss of taste or smell, you should not travel.

Dr. Williams concludes the check list with the standard suggestions for avoiding the virus.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson says he will not implement a mask mandate or limit the size of gathering through the government. He says it is up to the individual Missourian to make the right choice.
