Drought Conditions Disappear or Improve for Much of Southeast Missouri

(Farmington) The Regional Radio Listening Area has good news concerning the drought after the latest drought monitor map was released this week.

Severe drought conditions have completely left our area.

Moderate drought conditions are still sticking around for all of Dent, Shannon, western Reynolds and western Crawford counties.

Abnormally dry conditons are listed for all of Iron and Wayne counties, plus most of Washington, Bollinger and the eastern half of Crawford counties.

Some areas have received enough rain to be completely out of the dry or drought categories.

They are all of Madison, Jefferson, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Perry counties, plus northeastern Washington and northern Bollinger counties.
