(Steelville) Some individuals were arrested by several police agencies on Sunday in Crawford County.
A news release from the sheriff’s department says a search warrant was executed in the early morning hours at a residence near the city limits of Steelville.
Police say the search turned up 26 fentanyl capsules, some methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
A male and female were at the residence at the time the search warrant was served.
The female was taken to the Crawford County jail for an active warrant out of Franklin County.
She was placed on a 24 hour hold for possession and distribution of a controlled substance.
Also on Sunday, a warrant was issued for 26-year-old Paige Garrett of Steelville for delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garrett is being held on 100-thousand dollar bond.
These two search warrants were served by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, Steelville Police Department and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group.
