E.P.A. to Host Community Meeting in Viburnum Tuesday Evening

(Viburnum) A public meeting, hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency, takes place Tuesday evening in Viburnum.
Kirk Mammoliti with the E.P.A. says they will update the community on the City of Viburnum Superfund site project, where they are currently removing lead-contaminated soil from various locations in and around Viburnum.
One of those areas getting contaminated soil removed right now is on a playground on the Viburnum school campus.
Tuesday evening’s public meeting with the E.P.A. runs from 6 until 7:30 at Blue Jay Park under the pavilion.
That’s the newer city park located behind the Viburnum Shopping Center.
