Electric Bill to Increase for Ameren Missouri Customers

(Farmington) The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved a request from Ameren Missouri to raise monthly rates of the Energy Efficiency Investment Charge that appears on bills of electric customers.
According the P.S.C., for a typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, this charge will change from about $3.95 a month to about $5.32 a month.
The change is expected to take effect February 1st.
