Ellington Woman Injured In Accident

(Ellington) A 23 year old woman from Ellington was seriously injured in a two vehicle traffic accident Monday night at the intersection of Highway 21 and Missouri 106 in Reynolds County.

The highway patrol says 23 year old Breanna Turner failed to yield to a vehicle being driven by Gerald Bates of Ellington, hitting his vehicle on the side.

Turner suffered serious injuries in the accident and was flown to St. Louis University Hospital for treatment.

A four year old girl in the vehicle sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
