Farmington Defeats Potosi 52-7
The Farmington Knights have improved to 2-0 after a dominant performance against the Potosi Trojans, 52-7. Potosi started hot, with a 90-yard touchdown run from senior receiver-turned-quarterback Luke Brabham on the second play from scrimmage.

Farmington answered back with a touchdown of their own, on a jet sweep to wide receiver Gabe Guiliani.

The Knights continued to roll, as junior running back Kaesen McClain gave Farmington the lead.

Soon after, Knights quarterback Brett Drye ran in three touchdowns.
A late first half field goal from the Knights made the score 31-7 at the half. The Knights would add three second half scores, one of which came from the second string, who played the bulk of the fourth quarter.
Although one team was superior on the scoreboard, both teams’ leading rusher was a quarterback. Brett Drye toted the rock for 143 yards and three scores for the Knights, and Potosi was led in rushing by Luke Brabham, who ran for 105 and a touchdown.
Trojans head coach Dylan Wyrick says the silver lining for tonight for Potosi was the opportunity to let the second string gain valuable varsity experience.

The Trojans host Central next Friday, and the Knights play at home against Jackson for Week 3.
