Farmington Faces Festus in Christmas Tournament Rematch Tuesday Night
(FESTUS) The Farmington Knights boys basketball team travels to Festus Tuesday evening for what’s likely to be a scrappy game. These two teams met in the quarterfinal round of the Bob Seachrest Christmas Tournament, a game where Farmington beat the Tigers by 3 in a defensive affair. The 10-5 Knights are coached by Garrett Callahan, who says his team is working on defense following losses in a couple of high-scoring games.

Festus is 8-5 and coached by Dan Johnson. The Tigers have won eight of their last nine with the lone loss coming against Farmington. Johnson shares what happened in the last meeting.

Callahan breaks down the Knight’s last game against Festus and shares how his team can grab another victory over the Tigers.

Johnson says the Tigers’ execution is more important than the tempo of the game.

The last meeting between these teams was low scoring, but there were some outstanding individual efforts. Farmington’s Cannon Roth led all scorers with 16 points, and both Drew Johnson and Ayden Clifton hit double figures for Festus. The Tigers host Farmington Tuesday evening at 7:30 on AM-800 KREI and AM-1400 KJFF.
