Farmington Falls To Jackson in SEMO North Opener
(Farmington) In a game that featured 101 points and 1,062 yards, Farmington couldn’t quite keep pace with Jackson in their SEMO North opener at home and lost for the 13th consecutive time in the series, 63-38.
Jackson quarterback Adrian Fox threw for 358 yards. He completed six passes to Kai Crowe for 180 yards…

The Knights hung around with 444 yards on offense and spectacular special teams. Farmington’s kicker Ian Zohner (zone-er) connected on three field goals. They were perfect on one point and two point conversions, they blocked a punt, converted a fake punt for 25 yards and recovered a pooch kick.
Farmington scored on a 10 yard touchdown pass from Brett Drye to Sam Woodson with 1:40 left in the first half….

But the Knights allowed a 71 yard response 70 seconds later, and were never able to close to within two scores again.
Knights coach Erik Kruppe says two of three phases is pretty good, just not enough to beat the 10th ranked team in Class 6….

Farmington’s Kaesen McClain ran for 106 yards on 27 carries. Quarterback Brett Drye threw for 164 and added 83 on the ground.
Farmington falls to 2-1 and goes to Sikeston next week. Jackson improves to 2-1 and will travel to Poplar Bluff.
