Farmington Hosts Festus in Volleyball Tonight on KREI

(Farmington) Volleyball coverage kicks off tonight on Regional Radio as Farmington hosts Festus on AM 800 KREI. Both squads come into this one at 0-1 on the season. Festus dropped their season opener to Ste. Genevieve on Tuesday night 2-1 while Farmington fell to Cape Notre Dame on the road Tuesday 3-2. Head coach of the Farmington Knights Haley Baker says she found out one of her starters had a broken wrist right before their first match which shook up the starting line up, however, with a match now under their belt and one practice she thinks they’ll be more ready with the players available.

Last season, the Knights were swept by the Tigers in straight sets and coach Baker says her team was not used to the speed that Festus played at a season ago.
