(Perryville) The Farmington Knights volleyball team won their 9th district title in the last 11 years as they knocked off the Perryville Pirates 3-1 in the Class 4 District 1 Championship tonight on KREI. Perryville got off to a hot start and never looked back in set one as they torched the Knights 25-14, but the Knights settled in and battled for three straight set victories and the title. Farmington started slow again in set two, but gained some momentum in the latter part of the set to take the victory.

Farmington controlled set number three and won it by four points.
