Festus Area Thefts And Recovered Property

(HILLSBORO, FESTUS) Two Festus area businesses were broken into and items were stolen this week, however, those items were quickly recovered thanks to members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Detective Lieutenant Matt Moore with the detective bureau says one of the items was a motorcycle.

Moore says another theft took place the same evening with another quick recovery by the same group.

Charges against those responsible are pending, they are believed to be residents of Franklin County.
